Apparatus for cutting baked products

Description

A bakery bread roll cutting machine has a chamber (1) holding the bread roll and a rotating cutter blade (2) which moves relative to the chamber (1). The cutting chamber (1) is fixed to a baseplate (15) on a sliding table (14) and has a slot (13) for the cutting blade (2). The chamber (1) has a rounded recess (12) for the bread roll and a hinged lid (9) with a retaining catch which holds the bread roll steady during the cutting operation.
