An especially compact and versatilely applicable design can be achieved by virtue of the fact that the piston (5) is actively connected to a pull strip (13) that is wound onto a drive wheel (11), which is connected to an actuating shaft (16) designed for exerting a torque onto a winding device, which is coupled to the device and which is provided for winding the safety belt.

L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de tendre des ceintures de sécurité, comprenant un boîtier, une charge propulsive (3) pyrotechnique disposée dans le boîtier (1), qui agit sur un piston (5) monté mobile dans le boîtier (1).
